Our Retired Adult Ragdolls are certified to be in good health to the best of our knowledge following a check by the veterinarian. Appropriate vaccinations have been administered. Cats are TICA Registered. The TICA Registration provided by Thomas Treasured Ragdolls IS the guarantee that the cat is a TICA Registered Ragdoll.
It is requested that each cat owner have his/her cat examined by a veterinarian within one week of sale, if the health assessment by our vet is questioned by your vet to reveal any possible problems, the new owner must notify Thomas Treasured Ragdolls within 24 hours. If there is a medical issue that significantly impacts the health and wellbeing of the cat based on a veterinary appointment made by the new home, documentation of the appointment with the vet, and their notes need to be provided immediately to Thomas Treasured Ragdolls. These notes need to be provided within two days of any documented concerns. These will be shared and reviewed by the vet clinic used by Thomas Treasured Ragdolls.
Since our cats go home in good health per our vet assessment, we will not cover vet expenses once the kitten has left our cattery and have gone to their “forever home”. Specifically, congenital issues are guaranteed for one year with the adult retired TICA Ragdoll. Other vet costs will be covered by the new owner (i.e., annual visits, teeth cleaning, flea/tick medication, or spaying/neutering). All adults used in our breeding program have been tested at UC Davis Laboratories and are negative for HCM and PKD.
Transitioning a purchased cat is the responsibility of the purchaser. Cats cannot be returned to Treasured Rags Cattery due to complications with the transition process into a new home.
All transportation expenses are the responsibility of the new owner, we do not ship. Buyers guarantee that the cat will provide a proper diet, a safe and healthy environment, veterinarian care and will not mistreat the cat. The cat needs to remain on the same food, Royal Canin. Otherwise, health complications will not be covered. This breeder does not sell to brokers, pet stores or co-ops.

□ I will not change food for the first 6 months unless mandated by a veterinarian.
□ I will maintain health by bringing the cat to regular (minimally annual) vet visits.
□ Per the law in New York State, I will not declaw the cat.
□ I will not let my Ragdoll cat go outside unless it is on a harness, secured cat stroller, cat carrier, or cat backpack under direct supervision.
*Completing the TICA Registration provided is up to the new owner. Other costs that the new family wishes to purchase (i.e., 3 or 5 year pedigree) will be covered by the new family.
